FRONT DESK


PBX Agent: The "Compass" PBX Agent serves as the main point of contact for all guest requests and needs, including answering calls, dispatching requests, making dining reservations and following up to ensure excellent guest service. Excellent organizational, guest service and communication skills required. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required.

Front Office Host Supervisor: The Front Office Supervisors have additional responsibilities in comparison to the Front Desk Hosts. The Supervisors help train and lead the Hosts, as well as generate reports and assist with projects as assigned by the Front Office Manager and/or General Manager. The Supervisors may also be trained to perform the Night Auditor functions. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required. Candidates will be required to lift and move up to 40 pounds. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.

Front Office Host: This unique position will allow the guest to seamlessly move through the check-in process with one person. The Front Office Host will greet the guest and check them in with an iPad. Hosts will also assist the guests with carrying luggage, bringing essentials to the guests’ rooms and valeting vehicles. Our Hosts strive to make the guests’ experience exemplary. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required. Candidates will be required to lift and move up to 40 pounds. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.

Front Gate Security: The gate security personnel will assist the guest in the check in process and monitor visitors coming and going from the resort. This position works closely with the Front Desk/Bellstand staff. Excellent communications skills and clean driving record is required.

Valet/Bellstand Attendants: The Valet/Bellstand attendants greet and escort guests to rooms. Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property. Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities. Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services). Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.. Valet aspects of the position include: Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage, communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, manage the valet podium, organize , vehicles, managing the parking area (barricades, directing traffic, etc., protecting cars and handing out Claim Tickets and organizing keys. Prior Bellstand/Valet/Front Desk experience in a luxury hotel required. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required. Candidates will be required to lift and move up to 40 pounds. A valid driver's license and CLEAN driving record is required.

CULINARY, FOOD & BEVERAGE

Our restaurants, Sol By The Sea (fish), La Marea (steak) and Los Olas (ceviche), serve exceptional food for every formality. With restaurants open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as poolside service and 24 hour in-room dining, our staff provides high quality food and drinks in a casual, scenic atmosphere. Food & Beverage Manager: The Playa Largo Resort & Spa, a luxury Marriott Autograph Collection property, is currently seeking a capable and professional individual to join our Food & Beverage team. We are looking for a talented individual with excellent communication skills that possess a strong work ethic, enthusiastic demeanor and a genuine desire to care for and serve others. Previous management experience in a luxury 4-5 star/Upscale restaurant is essential to this position.

Restaurant Supervisor: The Restaurant Supervisor oversees and manages all areas of the restaurant and ensures guest service meets company standards. Achieves restaurant operational objectives by contributing information, training; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; implementing change. Upscale dining experience required. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required.

Room Service Servers: The Room Service staff delivers food and beverage orders to guest rooms according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. (S)he also assists in the maintenance of the Room Service area and equipment. Prior experience preferred. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required.

Barback: The Barback assists the bartender with all duties including, emptying trash cans, collecting dirty glasses, wiping down the bar counter, stocking ice for all the wells, bringing out clean glassware, cutting fruit and garnishes for drinks, stocking juice, liquor, beer, and wine. A good basic knowledge of wine and spirits is essential to this position. Prior experience preferred. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required.

BANQUET POSITIONS


Banquet Server/Bartender: The Banquet Servers serve meals to our guests. The Servers may deliver plated meals directly to our guests, or may help serve food in the buffet line(s). The Servers also make sure that our guests have ample water, coffee, and tea. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required. Bartenders will have a solid foundation of beverage

SALON SPA & FITNESS

Ocean Spa offers 6 treatment rooms and a full service salon with a 24-hour fitness center. Our spa and salon services combine exclusive marine-based skin care with Key Largo's gift of fresh, organic, local ingredients to create an authentic island experience from start to finish. We offer a comprehensive menu of treatments, which merge the most current cosmetic technologies with a tropical flare. We are looking for talented individuals that possess a strong work ethic, enthusiastic demeanor and a genuine desire to care for and serve others. Applicants must have all current licenses and certifications that are required on a state and local level.


Spa Host: The Spa Host is responsible for greeting hotel guests and/or members and initiates an outstanding Spa guest experience by extending our Spa Welcome Ritual. The Spa Host is expected to maintain bookings and process cancellations. The Spa Host must be well versed in the Spa Menu and different services offered at the facility, so as to be able to provide adequate information to the members/guests of the facility. They are to help members/guests with their queries. They should also be able to handle dissatisfied members/guests. Additionally, the Spa Host may need to process transactions, handle money and contribute to facility cleanliness. Computer Skills necessary as will be responsible for scheduling Spa appointments and using Spa software. Excellent communication skills as telephone follow up calls, confirmation calls and scheduling will take place over the phone. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required.

Massage Therapists: The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing massages and other body treatments to guests of our facility. Performs massage and body services that meet the established guidelines for the type of service offering and that fulfill guest expectations. Performs all treatments on services menu based upon current licensure. Meets the needs of the guest at all times throughout the service. Maintains the highest level of product knowledge and has complete knowledge of all spa service presently offered. Understands the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to guests. Answers guests’ questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.

Hair Stylists: The hair stylist is responsible for providing hair services that can include, styling; including blow out’s and curling, cutting, hair up do’s for weddings and special events, hair conditioning and masque treatments. Performs all treatments on services menu based upon current licensure. Meets the needs of the guest at all times throughout the service. Maintains the highest level of product knowledge and has complete knowledge of all spa services presently offered. Understands the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to guests. Answers guests’ questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.

Nail Technicians: The Nail Technician is responsible for providing nail care services and performs nail services that meet the established guidelines for the type of service offering and that fulfill guest expectations in the area of nail grooming, polish application, massage and exfoliation. Performs all treatments on services menu based upon current licensure. Meets the needs of the guest at all times throughout the service. Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.

Esthetician: Capable of performing customized facial sessions in which the quality of touch, product application, flow, pressure and draping is safe, professional and therapeutic. Capable of selling retail products and helping with front desk duties and retail consultations while not performing facials. Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.

Fitness Trainer: Personal Trainers provide one-on-one fitness instruction and develop programs and choose exercises. Trainers evaluate their clients' physical fitness and keep track of their progress. Trainers must be able to demonstrate the movements and exercises recommended. Must be able to teach group classes such as Boot Camp and Circuit style classes: 2 – 6 participants. Arriving to teach class in advance of the scheduled time to greet participants, answer questions and address concerns, teaching classes with energy and enthusiasm, motivating class participants to the best of your ability, keeping up-to-date on safety, fitness and Wellness trends. Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.

BEACH / KIDS PROGRAM


Beach Attendant: Responsibilities include welcoming guests to the pool facility and ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience, cleaning the pool and beach areas as needed, ensuring an adequate supply of towels and water are always available to guests and offering guests’ assistance with pool chairs, umbrellas and cabanas as required. Candidates will be required to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
